Father of love, in this hour of deep grief comfort us.
Wrap us in your strong embrace and shelter us from the storm.
Take us into Your tender care as we pour out our heartbreak to you.
Be our place of refuge as we look toward the future; calm our hearts, O God, and still our anxious minds.
For all life is found in You, all our being is given to You, and all our hope begins with You.
Hear us and heal us in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reconciliation Opportunity
for Moms and Dads of Young Children
Beginning this month, during the 9:30-10:30 AM First Friday confession period, one of the priests will be dedicated to hearing the confessions of parents who are accompanied by young children before hearing the confessions of others. The usual line will continue with all other priests present, and parents may choose to wait in the usual line if they would prefer to confess to a different priest.

Memorial Mass
Sunday, November 14, at 9:00 AM, the Knights of Columbus will have their annual memorial Mass honoring their deceased brother Knights. All Knights are encouraged to attend this Mass.

Being bilingual is a huge plus, but it's not required.

The Social Concerns Committee is expanding the team! We work to address parish and community concerns by providing services, guidance, and support. Specific projects have included:

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
RCIA classes have begun, but it's not too late to join! If you or someone you know is considering joining the Catholic Church, the RCIA group meets in the Parish Hall at 7:00 PM on Thursday evenings, and anyone is welcome! If you would like to be on the schedule for Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, call 281-769-2002 or email stbartsadoration@icloud.com. See list below for times most in need of committed adorers.
Drop-ins are welcome in the chapel; you do not need to sign up to adore our Lord. All guests and visitors are asked to sign in on the iPad when entering the chapel.
Divine Mercy Prayer: Weekdays at 3:00 PM the Divine Mercy prayers are led out loud. On Fridays, Divine Mercy prayers are followed by the Stations of the Cross.
Children's Weekly Holy Hour: Fridays at 7:00 PM. The rosary is prayed aloud during this hour.
